Increasing Particle Life increases Particle Velocity
Quick question, I’m following along with the introduction to Physics Tutorial from Roland Hartmann found in the tutorial section (https://vimeo.com/280544948). When I finished the tutorial I wanted to extend the particle life to make a 10 second clip of the particle system. When I extended the Particle life to 10 seconds and recached the simulation the particles flew off the screen rather than dropping down and hitting the default floor from the generic setup. When I set the particle age back to 2 seconds the simulation worked as before but now my particles die off long before my 10 second comp ends.
As I could see this being a huge issue on client work; changing the look of a simulation when a shot is extended, I’m trying to figure out what I did wrong or how to properly extend the simulation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
