Turbulence discrepancy with auxiliary systems
In a scenario where you have a static particle and an auxiliary system particle at the exact same coordinates, is there a way for both to be affected by a turbulence field without diverging? What is causing the discrepancy?
Hi,
Please send an email to support , so we could have a look at the setup.

This is another case of “rubber duck debugging” while building my example setup I realized that the auxiliary system is affected twice by the turbulence, and it might be by design: The turbulence changes the main particle position, which moves the auxiliary particle position as well, and then, because my turbulence is not linked to anything, it affects the auxiliary particle again, causing it to move around more than the parent particle. Totally normal behavior I suppose, which could be worked around by changing the node flow. I apologize for my eagerness to post and thank you for your patience. I need to go to sleep.
